Sonja Tobey, Coaching

Terms & Conditions

  1. Payment

Payment for packages is due per the package agreement.  Individual coaching session payments should be made at the time of service.  Should the Coach not receive payment for a coaching session already completed or per the agreement, the Coach has the right to cease further sessions until payment is made.  Coach may require payment in advance should payment for sessions become an ongoing issue.

2. Cancellation

A coaching session can be cancelled and rescheduled with a 24-hour notice.  If after beginning a coaching package, the Client wishes to cease coaching, the cost of the completed sessions will be charged at the non-discounted rate of $50 per session with payment due at that time.

3. Confidentiality

All discussion will be kept confidential between Coach and Client.  Should a third party wish to have a report of progress, one will be provided with the permission of the Client.

4. Ethics

The Coach is a member of the ICF and is guided by their Code of Ethics which can be found at https://coachingfederation.org/ethics/code-of-ethics. Any notes the Coach makes during the session or about the Client is kept confidential.  The Coach will not use or disclose information shared with them during the coaching session, except as authorized by the Client or required by law.  The Coach, on occasion, may anonymously share generalized information for training or consultation.  The identity of the Client or any information that could lead to the Client’s identity will remain entirely confidential. Contact information may be provided to the ICF for credentialing purposes.

5. Client Commitment

The Client agrees to be honest and open, to take responsibility for Client’s choices and actions, and enters this Agreement with the full understanding that they alone are responsible for creating results.  Achieving your goals (in whole or part) cannot be guaranteed.

6. Limitations

Client acknowledges that coaching is not counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis or any other form of mental health care treatment or therapy, nor is it to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business, or other qualified professionals. If appropriate, Client will seek independent professional guidance and that all decisions and actions in these areas are responsibility of the Client.

7. Coaching Sessions

The agenda of each session belongs to the Client. If the session is not heading in the direction the Client would like, if the Coach ever says anything the does not feel comfortable with or if the Client has a concern with the way the sessions are proceeding, the Client will let the Coach know immediately.
